Team Coaching

Our primary job as leaders is to grow new leaders. Teams who work solely in the virtual world often get disconnected from each other, and can lose that growth mindset. These sessions help identify team strengths and challenges, brokering team conversations and sorting out team conflicts.

Team coaching can lead to:

  • A connected team who are ready to support

  • Improvements in performance that lead to growth for all

  • A sense of camaraderie that may have been missing

  • A resourceful team with processes to manage conflict

  • A psychologically safe team who are all included

What to expect from team coaching

After an initial session identifying the immediate challenges of the team, we will draw up a plan of action for the sessions.

Team coaching sessions typically run for one to three sessions with sessions lasting up to half a day in length.

We will draw up a contract of how we will work with the team to get the best out of the time we have, ensuring that all voices are heard in the sessions.

Time between sessions is necessary for issues to be processed and proactive working to be explored.

These sessions can be run online or in person.  Either way, timekeeping and no interruptions are key to making the sessions a success.

What Our Clients Say

Samantha has provided CaST [part of Publicis Groupe, production supplier to Haleon] with two coaching workshops. The primary reason for these workshops was to build confidence and resilience within the team who mainly work remotely online, particularly when managing clients.

The first workshop was an afternoon in person session, which was the first time the team had spent quality time together so they were quite excited and Samantha did a great job in corralling them and getting us to focus on the brief. The whole team left the session feeling energised and empowered, excited to put their new tools in place. We also learned that we ideally need more time with Samantha to learn some more in depth tools, particularly in relation to resilience and dealing with difficult scenarios and conversations. Improvement in time management and setting boundaries were a primary focus to build on.

Eira Ellis

Director of Global Operations

Sam has worked extensively with school leaders across both schools in the Federation over the last two years. The Evolution course in particular has been fundamental in shaping resilience for those who have been new to the role of leadership. As a result, I feel that the course has helped to define a cohesive team, who are resourceful and proactive, and have been able to establish themselves securely as Leaders in their respective disciplines within the school. As a result, they have been able to engage and successfully lead teams, ably enacting the school’s vision and priorities with confidence. This was evident in the recent Ofsted Inspection where as new leaders they excelled.

Aaron Sumner

Executive Headteacher, North Westminster Federation

The impact of Sam’s work with leaders in our organisation have been clear and positive. I have seen those who have worked with Sam really step up into senior leadership as a result of the coaching. Sam has brought out confidence and energised colleagues enabling them to increase their effectiveness and wellbeing as a result. The changes have been more significant than I have seen from any other form of CPD.
